Taylor's work is both functional and decorative.  She uses her drawing skills to create detailed carved pieces. She also uses various aspects of nature such as leaves, bamboo and moth.

In 2019 she received a BA in Art and minor in graphic design from Winthrop University. She is a pottery studio assistant at Small Hands Big Art in South Charlotte.

She also teaches private lessons at her home.
