Alan Noll

Alan Noll, art educator and artist, resides in Lancaster, South Carolina, where his studio, Timber Creek Pottery, is located.

 

Alan holds both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Art Education. He relocated to South Carolina from Maryland where his career spanned 32 years in the nations 3rd largest school district. His students work has been recognized on local, state and national levels.  

 

He has been listed in Who's Who in American Teachers and received the "Career Art Educator of the Year Award" in 2002.

 

His interests over the years have ranged from pencils rendering, watercolor, batik and stained glass to ceramics... His whimsical ceramic creations have been exhibited in galleries as well as community juried shows.

 

His figurative Raku sculpture titles "All in a Days Work" was selected for publication in the December 2006 edition of Clay Times
