Dianne Mahaffee is a professional artist who specializes in Raku pottery and watercolor painting.Her artworks have won numerous awards and been published in national publications. Her Raku has strong creative elements while her watercolor is all about light and shadow with many art works painted on location as she travels abroad.

Dianne's education includes:

* Associate degree from USC Lancaster

* B.A. from Winthrop University

* Masters of Art Education from Winthrop University with studio emphasis on clay sculpture and painting

* Studied art in New York city, Ny, France, Italy and Greece

Presently, Dianne Mahaffee teaches art at the University of South Carolina at Lancaster and also at Discovery Charter School. She conducts numerous art workshops for the community and is host of Art With Dianne on Learn TV.
